I have always been a nike loyal customer but now ASIC has my vote. I noticed that Nike has changed their craftmanship in the past 5 years. These shoes are so comfortable they are all I wear most of the time (I have a few pairs). They give great support and are particularly helpful if you tend to pronate. Excellent shoe!

Best shoes I have ever worn! (2010-05-12)
I have plantar faschiatis and have had to wear orthotics in all of my shoes due to severe heel pain prior to purchasing Asics. The orthotics weren't relieving the heel pain either. Our fedex courier at my work noticed I was looking to purchase shoes online one day and he highly recommended I get a pair of Asics. Boy was he was he right. My heel pain is gone & No More orthotics. Who would know better about a really comfortable shoe than a fedex courier who is on his feet all day, everyday! You will not regret buying Asics..............My feet are so relieved that I found these shoes!

The Asics 2150 and it's sister 2140 are both great shoes that offer ample support for your feet, ankle and knees. I have bad knees and use these shoes for walking. I have tried many other brands but have found the Asics to be the best.

I bought these shoes for my first half marathon. They were great. I felt like I was running on little pillows. I only buy Asics they really last almost too long, :) These were replacing my 1120 which I really didn't know how wore they really were until I got the 2150.

Best Running Shoe Ever! (2010-05-26)
I just love these shoes. They are light weight but very supportive. I was very sceptical about buying running shoes online. But these fit exactly like the last pair I bought at an expensive running store. The first time you buy a pair of running shoes you need to have a professional fit you. But after that why pay the high price for the same pair of shoes? Buy them on line and save. The shoes arrived several days before the estimated delivery date. And I didn't have to waste time going to the store only to find that they don't have my size.

Great shoes (2010-05-19)
Great shoes, bought without trying on in store (but have Kayano 10's, so happy with the sizing). Re-measured feet and placed order, arrived in two days at my hotel in Daytona Beach. In person they are much more reflective/shiny than the photo suggests, but after a week or two wearing they have lost that awful new shoe super dazzle effect and look great, and are a pleasure to wear for a massive overpronator such as myself.

As usual, Asics provides a great fitting, light, easy to walk/run shoe. The uppers do tend to show dirt but they are washable and come clean easily.

Loving the shoes right now!!! (2010-05-06)
Just switched to these from the GT2130's. Took these shoes out for a few good runs and they are excellent for over-pronators. I was getting injuries before with my shins and my toes from other shoes. These feel very comfortable with the gel insoles. Probably won't ever buy anything but Asics from now on.

I have used Nike, Adidas, and New Balance for playing tennis. These are the best tennis shoes so far. My feet used to hurt while playing tennis with other shoes. This brand has a special cushion which provide extra support.

Good Solid Shoe (2010-05-10)
Bought these as a replacement to my Asics Gel Challenger 6 shoes.
The new shoes are comfortable with a true fit right out of the box, unlike the older version that needed breaking in. They have a roomy toe box, fit snug in the heel, provide good ankle support, and are light weight. After 1 month's play, the sole seems to hold up well too. Recommend these shoes.

Good, but not great. (2010-02-10)
These tennis shoes are fine when I'm running around the court, but they feel a little weird when I'm putting them one. They're too tight around the front and too lose around the heel. Somehow, once I'm out on the court, I don't notice that. One other minor problem is that the laces they ship with are waaaay too short.

Uncomfortable (2009-11-20)
This is my third pair of ASICS tennis shoes, and the mesh is not comfortable and I feel the lack of flexibility of the material when you bent your toes.

A nice soft landing (2010-05-27)
So far, these shoes are a very good compromise. I've tried the Asics 1140's (typically a bit more than half the price of these) and the Kayano (typically half again more $) and I wanted to get something Kayano-like but less expensive. The GT-2140's are close. They're very shock absorbent, which the 1140's are not, and they fit very well. The Kayanos seem to be just as soft but somehow have better structure and less weight, but the GT's are very good. The 1140's are nasty in comparison to the Kayano and not very good in comparison to the gt-2140, so I don't recommend those. They (the 1140's) also wear out surprisingly fast. I haven't had the gt-2140 to know how long it will last, but the Kayano lasts forever so I've got my fingers crossed, durability-wise. I really got the in-between bargain I was looking for - the GT-2140 has most of the good things about the Kayanos and costs a good deal less.

awesome but sweaty (2010-01-18)
these have the most comfortable soles i could find. I've tried on 8 pair of squash shoes. however, asics comes pretty narrow, with a tight toe box, which does stretch out eventually. But, the only unacceptable part of the shoe is that it doesn't breathe at all and you'll find that your feet get extra hot and sweaty. They start to stink very very fast.

The Shoes with Sole (2009-11-12)
I am also a runner. I knew I could trust Asics to deliver a K A volleyball shoe. Good starts and stops and a solid land from a spike or block. Remember to keep the dust off with your hands. I like the extra rubber on the top of the toes. I am always diving have messed that part on other shoes. These give me the look of a dangerous opponent for the intimidation factor.

These shoes feel like HEAVEN! (2010-03-18)
These shoes have been great for me so far. They have very good cushioning as is the norm with most Asics shoes. My feet have not hurt any since I started playing with these shoes. I can play for hours and hours and there is no pain at all in my legs or feet which I definitely had with other shoes. The low profile of the shoe gives you great lateral support and my bursts to the ball have definitely improved.

I highly recommend these shoes to any tennis player.

There is one drawback: durability, the outsoles have worn out very fast but it is worth it to have the increased speed and comfort.

NOTE: I WISH AMAZON WOULD CARRY A SIZE 12 OF THE BLACK SHOE!!! (I HAVE THE BLUE, VERY FLASHY)

I think this is a great tennis shoe. It is lightweight with good overall support. I wore them to play tennis without breaking them in and i didn't have any problems with blisters. I do recommend ordering a half size up from your normal shoe size.

great shoe (2009-10-19)
Shoe fit was very good and the colors were exactly as pictured. The shoe did feel a little loose in the ankle the first few days on the court but as it loosened up and I tightened the laces for the second time they are feeling better. As for a daily shoe which I did not buy them for but have worn them some this way they are great also and very comfortable and my feet did not sweat so much from them as they have in others before and they have adequate ventilation.
